前置詞はふつう、for, at, on, in, from, under のように１語で働くが、この例文の from under のように、２つ重なって働くこともあり、これを二重前置詞と呼ぶ。 中でも、from を含む以下の二重前置詞はよく用いられるので頭に入れておこう。
